RBC Dominion Securities & RBC Foundation Hit a Hole in One for the New Hospital - Fraser Valley’s largest Wealth Management firm, RBC Dominion Securities, in collaboration with RBC Foundation, has pledged a total gift of $300,000 in support of the new Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre. Of this amount, $150,000 will be raised by the employees of Abbotsford’s RBC Dominion Securities office.

Scotiabank Boosts New Hospital Project with $100,000 Gift - On Tuesday, April 10, 2007 Scotiabank announced a $100,000 donation over five years to A Campaign for Health Care Excellence in support of the new Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre.

Crystal Gala Foundation – on Saturday, November 18^th - The Crystal Gala Foundation announced their Lead Gift pledge of $500,000 to A Campaign for Health Care Excellence. The Breast Health Unit in the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre will be named the “Crystal Gala Breast Health Unit” in recognition of this generous gift. “We are so excited to be supporting this campaign. To know that the money raised in this region will stay in this region is incredibly gratifying.” Dixie Jacobson, Foundation Chair.

The Auxiliary to M.S.A. General Hospital – The Auxiliary to M.S.A. General Hospital has been raising funds for local health care for 85 years. These dedicated volunteers give thousands of hours every year and have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars for equipment and patient comforts; their contribution to health care is immeasurable.  “Our volunteers have supported M.S.A.
