Paramedics and Social Prescribing Communications Guide: Engage, Share, Connect

Your guide to maximizing impact in Paramedics and Social Prescribing

We’re thrilled to announce the teams invited to participate in Paramedics and Social Prescribing on November 12, 2025. To help you share the news with your networks, we’ve put together several options you can choose from to spread the word over the coming weeks.

This offering is part of Care Forward,a growing pan-Canadian movement where innovative strategies and shared knowledge are transforming care for over a million people across Canada.

How to get involved

You can help amplify this news by sharing information about the announcement:

We're posting about this exciting milestone on Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram and Bluesky. Feel free to use our content to share the news with your networks by simply reposting/sharing our posts on your own channels. Add your own twist by adding a brief story or perspective on why Paramedics and Social Prescribing is important to your team.

In addition to the sample posts included in this toolkit, we’ll be actively sharing new content throughout the promotion period—including stories from participating teams.

By resharing these posts, you’ll help ensure more people across the country learn about Paramedics and Social Prescribing and the supports available to improve care in their communities.

Option A: Create your own unique content

Share your excitement by crafting your own compelling content.

Follow these steps for a high-engagement approach:

  • Craft your message: Develop a personalized post highlighting your team’s role in Paramedics and Social Prescribing. Express your enthusiasm, share relevant insights and let your unique voice shine.
  • Include visuals: Attach an eye-catching image or graphic related to your team’s participation. Visuals grab attention and enhance engagement.
  • Tagging: Mention and tag Healthcare Excellence Canada in your post so we can help amplify your content. Tag the local/regional/provincial partners you are working with for even more reach.
  • Use hashtags: Use relevant hashtags and keywords to improve access to care and healthcare to broaden your post’s reach. #AccessToCare #Healthcare

Pro tip for content creation
Assume every post is being seen in isolation. What information can you provide that will be useful and how can you prompt/facilitate users to easily find more information? Why does the information you’re providing matter?

Option B: Use ready-to-go visuals and sample posts

If you would prefer, you can create your own social, web and email content using these pre-written messages. Feel free to adapt or use them verbatim.

We want to engage in your stories of impact throughout the course of Paramedics and Social Prescribing. Make sure to tag us in your posts so we can share!
