Over the past five years, Healthcare Excellence Canada and partners across the country have been working together to improve the quality and safety of care.
We’re working toward a future where everyone in Canada can access safe, high-quality care - no matter who they are or where they live. We collaborate with people and organizations across the country to spread and scale proven improvements, strengthen capability and collective leadership, and catalyze policy and practice changes that lead to lasting impact.
How We Work

By connecting teams, sharing knowledge and supporting adaptation across diverse contexts, we accelerate improvements that make care safer, higher quality, more equitable and better connected.
Through training, learning collaboratives, practical resources, and peer-to-peer support, we help teams and leaders build capability and sustain improvement over time.
By bringing people, evidence and lived experience together we help shape systems that enable safer, higher-quality care. We do this by creating spaces where evidence, lived experience and system leadership come together. This happens through national and regional networks, collaboratives and policy-focused activities.
