5 Resources for 2025

As 2024 comes to a close, we want to thank you for your commitment to improving healthcare with and for everyone in Canada.

This year, Healthcare Excellence Canada supported hundreds of remarkable individuals and organizations across the country united by a common goal: strengthening access to safe, high-quality care for all.

Here are some inspiring outcomes of our work together:

• Improved turnover rates, work-life balance and patient care: These are some of the goals advanced by reporting teams in the Health Workforce Innovation Challenge.

• Increased access to care and fewer emergency department visits: Nearly 75% of participants in Partnering on Appropriate Virtual Care achieved these results while enhancing provider and patient experiences.

• More people aging at home with support:96% of older adults reached through Nursing Home Without Walls felt the program helped them stay at home, with stronger community connections.
