About the Right Care Challenge
The Right Care Challenge supports organizations implementing new or existing initiatives that can expand access to care to reduce pressure on emergency departments.
Participation is easy and shaped by your interests and capacity. Any eligible organization can register and is invited to submit reports describing their work in several themed challenges for the opportunity to access monetary awards for addressing key issues like access to primary care, workforce transformation, or new care models all towards improving access and easing pressure on emergency departments.
The sooner you register, the more award opportunities you’ll have. Learn more about the program and eligibility requirements on the Right Care Challenge webpage.
How the awards work
Over the course of the challenge, teams can earn awards by:
- Registering early and submitting a project plan.
- Reporting on measurable progress to expand access and reduce avoidable emergency department visits.
- Demonstrating innovation and impact through data and storytelling.
- Planning for long-term sustainability of their initiatives.
Awards are determined through a mix of random draws and scored submissions at key milestones. Teams can win multiple awards throughout the challenge.
