How the awards work

Over the course of the challenge, teams can earn awards by:

  • Registering early and submitting a project plan.
  • Reporting on measurable progress to expand access and reduce avoidable emergency department visits.
  • Demonstrating innovation and impact through data and storytelling.
  • Planning for long-term sustainability of their initiatives.

Awards are determined through a mix of random draws and scored submissions at key milestones. Teams can win multiple awards throughout the challenge.
