This document provides a summary of the status of patient safety and quality legislation in four areas: mandatory reporting, mandatory disclosure, apology protection and quality assurance in federal, provincial and territorial jurisdictions across Canada, and identifies key provisions in legislation across Canada that capture significant policy directions in their patient safety incident legislation.

To help speed up AI adoption, we partnered with an advisory committee of experts to develop strategies and identify four high-level guiding principles to support health leaders in implementing AI in the health sector and improving care.
